Digital Filmmaking
Matt is hoofd van de faculteit Digital Filmmaking bij SAE Institute in Rotterdam. Dat klinkt als een drukke baan, maar wat doe je dan precies? ‘I organise the curriculum for all the filmmaking courses and i give lectures to our students on a range of topics that cover pre- and post-production, film theory and film history.’ Wat verwacht je van iCreate Live 2011? ‘I haven't attended iCreate Live before. I'm looking forward to seeing and learning all-sorts from like-minded creative personalities and talents. I expect it will be eye-opening and exciting. I can't wait, genuinely. I am recommending that interested students attend, also.’
Matt and Macs
Matt Ogden houdt dus een lezing over Final Cut Pro X, hij weet alles over het produceren van film en hij heeft zin in een leuke in informatieve dag op iCreate Live. Dan blijft er nog een vraag over: wat zijn uw ervaringen met Apple producten? ‘My first iPod was a fifth generation classic iPod in 2005, and it wasn't much longer until I had moved to an iBook G4 (which is still working fine today!), and subsequently Mac Pros, MacBook Pros, iMacs and more. I don't get into the PC/Mac debate, but I do love Apple products, as simple as that. It seems to me that if people work in the creative sector (with a few exceptions), they tend to work on Apple products. From an editor's point of view, it's hard to beat Apple products!
